Adidas D.O.N. Issue 3

High-Octane Court Control & Superhuman Instincts: The adidas D.O.N. Issue 3 "Dark Blue / Red / Team Collegiate Gold" Channel elite downhill speed, explosive vertical power, and lightning-fast perimeter instincts with Donovan Mitchell’s third signature court performer. The GZ5513 reflects "Spida" Mitchell’s journey to the top of the league, balancing aggressive lockdown engineering with lightweight breathability. Draped in a high-contrast "Dark Blue," "Red," and "Team Collegiate Gold" colorway that echoes classic collegiate and hero-inspired palettes, this silhouette delivers maximum stability and dynamic court feel for high-impact guards and wings.

Benefits: Engineered for explosive first steps, hard lateral drives, and fast-break finishes on indoor hardwood and outdoor blacktops, this shoe prioritizes secure lockdown and responsive impact absorption. The lightweight mesh upper keeps feet ventilated while maintaining structural integrity during abrupt cuts. Underfoot, adidas Bounce cushioning provides a lively balance of shock dampening on hard landings and crisp energy return on push-offs, while the reinforced cord lacing cage locks the foot firmly down onto the footbed to prevent internal slippage.

Key Features:

• High-Energy Bounce Midsole: Lightweight, springy foam cushioning engineered to soak up heavy impacts while maintaining low-to-the-ground court responsiveness.

• Engineered Cord Lacing Harness: Webbed cord lace anchors integrated into the upper to deliver customized, dynamic lockdown across the midfoot.

• Breathable Mesh Chassis: Multi-layered, open-weave textile upper designed for ventilation, flex, and abrasion resistance.

• Lateral TPU Stabilizer Clip: Rigid sidewall support piece positioned to brace the foot and guard against rollover on aggressive directional changes.

• High-Traction Rubber Outsole: Multi-zoned rubber tread pattern delivering sharp stop-and-pop grip and heightened durability on both hardwood and outdoor courts.

• Padded Ergonomic Collar: Sculpted ankle support lining that cradles the Achilles for locked-in, blister-free containment.

Buyer Guidance & Fit Profile:

• Who This Product Is Best Suited For: Ideal for explosive basketball guards, dynamic wings, and aggressive two-way hoopers who rely on sudden changes of direction, heavy decelerations, and fast-twitch plays. Coordinates seamlessly with performance basketball compression shorts, mesh training jerseys, and off-court athletic tracksuits. Not recommended for distance road running or casual barefoot walking where minimal, unstructured shoes are preferred.

• Fit & Sizing Determination: Fits True to Size (TTS) with an intentionally Snug / Performance Lockdown Fit designed to keep the foot immovably anchored during aggressive basketball cuts. Hoop players with wider feet, high insteps, or those who wear thick padded performance socks/ankle braces should consider sizing half a size up (0.5 size up) to prevent excessive midfoot pinching.

• Recommended Conditions & Activities: Optimised for indoor hardwood courts, synthetic indoor surfaces, competitive outdoor blacktop hoops, and high-intensity agility workouts. Care Recommendation: Clean dirt from the mesh upper and rubber sole using a stiff-bristled brush, warm water, and specialized sneaker cleaner; avoid soaking in water or machine washing to protect the internal foam structure and lacing cords; air dry at room temperature away from direct heating elements; clean outsole grooves regularly after outdoor play to maintain optimal bite on dustier indoor courts.
