adidas D.O.N. Issue #3 Autism Awareness Men's Trainers UK Size 8.5

Adidas D.O.N. Issue #3

Purpose-Driven Velocity: The adidas D.O.N. Issue #3 "Autism Awareness" Experience explosive hardwood propulsion and an uncompromising lockdown profile engineered to channel Donovan Mitchell’s downhill rim attack into an inspiring off-court statement. The GY0321 stands as one of the most meaningful iterations of the D.O.N. franchise, created in collaboration with Mitchell to champion autism awareness and acceptance. A neutral "Clear Grey" textile foundation is brought to life by vibrant "Purple Rush" and high-voltage "Semi Screaming Green" accents, interlaced with multi-coloured puzzle piece motifs and an expressive lace band that carries the message directly onto the hardwood.

Benefits: Engineered for explosive perimeter guards and high-velocity slashers, these signature basketball shoes combine lightweight responsiveness with structural containment. An ultra-light Lightstrike foam midsole absorbs aggressive landing shock and rebounds instantly into dynamic takeoffs without weighing down your footwork. To keep high-energy cuts stable, a sculpted lateral TPU insert reinforces the midsole sidewall, providing the lateral containment and torsional stiffness required to execute euro-steps, sharp step-backs, and baseline drives with total confidence.

Key Features:

• High-Performance Textile Upper: Durable woven textile upper crafted in part with recycled production scraps, engineered for breathable flex and tear-resistant containment.

• Lightstrike Cushioning Platform: Super-lightweight EVA-based midsole foam calibrated for fast-break responsiveness, low-to-the-ground court feel, and dynamic shock dispersion.

• Sculpted Lateral TPU Stability Wing: Rigid, lateral reinforcement piece anchoring the outer forefoot and midfoot against lateral rollover during hard plants and directional changes.

• Midfoot Elastic Lockdown Band: Integrated stretch band spanning the throat and lacing matrix to seat the instep firmly into the footbed and display a dedicated awareness message.

• Multi-Directional Traction Matrix: High-abrasion rubber outsole etched with an intricate herringbone-variant tread pattern that grips hardwood and indoor surfaces on sudden stops.

• Padded Collar & Achilles Support: Form-molded internal heel counters and a padded collar designed to prevent heel slippage and cradle the rearfoot securely.

Buyer Guidance & Fit Profile:

• Who This Product Is Best Suited For: Ideal for competitive basketball guards, wing players, and sneaker collectors who value responsive, low-profile court feel paired with a socially impactful signature colourway. Coordinates seamlessly on-court with basketball compression tights, technical moisture-wicking crew socks, and mesh shorts, or transitions into bold streetwear styled with relaxed cargo pants and an oversized hoodie. Not intended for outdoor trail running, or heavy distance road training where maximalist stack heights are preferred.

• Fit & Sizing Determination: Fits True to Size (TTS) for standard foot shapes, providing a locked-in, snug performance containment. The forefoot TPU wing sits firmly along the lateral side to prevent rollover, which can feel somewhat restrictive on initial wear. Athletes with wide feet or those who prefer extra room in the toe box should consider stepping half a size up (0.5 size) to avoid pressure along the pinky toe.

• Recommended Conditions & Activities: Optimised for indoor hardwood basketball, competitive tournament play, high-intensity training drills, and casual lifestyle wear. The rubber compound offers elite grip on clean indoor courts; if used on abrasive outdoor asphalt, expect faster tread wear over time. Care Recommendation: Spot clean the textile upper and midsole using a soft-bristled brush with warm water and mild sneaker cleaner; wipe dry with a microfiber cloth; air dry naturally away from direct heat to protect the Lightstrike foam integrity and preserve the vibrant accent colours.
