Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 Gore-Tex FQ1356 001

Nike Pegasus 41 Gore-Tex

Dual Air Zoom Propulsion & Winterized GORE-TEX Shield: The Nike Pegasus 41 GORE-TEX "Black / Anthracite / Black" Maintain high-mileage road training through dark, freezing downpours with a winterized daily workhorse engineered to lock out moisture and amplify energy return. The FQ1356-001 executes a murdered-out "Black / Anthracite / Black" finish equipped with high-visibility reflective overlays, keeping aesthetics covert while enhancing low-light safety on dawn and dusk runs. Upgraded with an eco-conscious ReactX foam midsole, twin Air Zoom units, and an impermeable GORE-TEX membrane, this 41st edition turns wet winter asphalt into a fast, cushioned training ground.

Benefits: Engineered for wet-weather road mileage, dark winter base building, rainy tempo workouts, and foul-weather urban commutes, this shoe prioritizes waterproof defense, springy energy return, and cold-surface road bite. The GORE-TEX membrane stops road spray, puddle soak, and driving sleet from penetrating the upper while venting vapor to keep socks dry. Underfoot, the high-rebound ReactX platform works with dual forefoot and heel Air Zoom units to smooth impact shock and return propulsion with every stride, reducing leg fatigue across damp, hard pavement.

Key Features:

• Waterproof GORE-TEX Upper: Weatherproof membrane and engineered technical mesh engineered to seal out standing water and slush while preserving breathability.

• Upgraded ReactX Foam Midsole: Eco-engineered carrier delivering 13% higher energy return than standard React foam while cutting manufacturing midsole carbon footprint by at least 43%.

• Dual Air Zoom Units: Independent pressurized Zoom Air bags loaded in both the forefoot and heel, delivering snappy, responsive pop during toe-off and landing.

• Wet-Weather Storm Tread Outsole: Micro-siped rubber outsole pattern inspired by winter car tires, channeled to clear surface water and grip slick asphalt.

• Thermal Heathered Collar: Insulating, plush collar lining designed to trap body heat around the ankle and prevent cold road spray from splashing inside.

• 360-Degree Reflective Graphic Overlays: Reflective Swoosh, GORE-TEX lettering, and graphic detailing engineered to bounce headlights and improve visibility in low-light conditions.

Buyer Guidance & Fit Profile:

• Who This Product Is Best Suited For: Ideal for dedicated road runners logging outdoor miles straight through autumn, winter, and heavy rain, as well as high-step urban commuters who need a completely waterproof, blacked-out trainer that handles slick concrete. Coordinates naturally with weather-resistant running jackets, thermal base layer tights, reflective running caps, and moisture-wicking wool socks. Not built for technical, off-road mountain scree or deep woodland mud (where deep, aggressive 5mm+ trail lugs and rock plates are needed).

• Fit & Sizing Determination: Fits True to Size (TTS) on Nike's standard MR-10 running last, providing the same consistent heel-to-toe dimensions as the Pegasus 40. However, because the bonded waterproof GORE-TEX membrane offers less lateral stretch than standard summer-weight mesh, the toe box will feel snugger out of the box. Wearers with wide feet (2E+ width) or those who plan to run in thick thermal wool socks should consider sizing half a size up (0.5 size up) for toe-splay room.

• Recommended Conditions & Activities: Optimised for wet asphalt roads, concrete pavements, rainy track loops, and paved winter park routes in freezing or sleety conditions. Care Recommendation: Rinse road salt, slush, and surface grime off using a damp cloth and lukewarm water after rainy outings; clean stubborn dirt with a soft brush and mild technical detergent; do not put in a washing machine or tumble dryer, as heat and spin cycles break down the GORE-TEX waterproofing and weaken the bonded ReactX foam; pull out the sockliners, loosen laces, and allow to air dry naturally at room temperature in a well-ventilated space away from direct radiators or hot air vents.
