Nike Men's Pegasus Trail 3 DV3035 001

Nike Men's Pegasus Trail 3

Door-to-Trail React Versatility & Protective Off-Road Geometry: The Nike Pegasus Trail 3 "Dusty Sage / Black / Smoke Grey" Bridge smooth tarmac stretches and rocky singletrack switchbacks with one of the most celebrated hybrid runners in contemporary trail footwear. The DV3035-001 wraps the silhouette in an understated outdoor palette, matching a muted "Dusty Sage" green base with "Smoke Grey" structural accents and grounded "Black" branding hits. Built on a generous slab of resilient Nike React foam and balanced with an all-terrain shockwave rubber lug pattern, this third edition handles door-to-trail routes without sacrificing road-running comfort.

Benefits: Engineered for runners who transition directly from suburban pavement to dirt paths, gravel fire roads, and rolling parklands, this hybrid shoe prioritizes plush impact dampening and stable foot placement. The full-length React foam core buffers hard strikes on concrete while soaking up surface unevenness on rocky singletracks to keep legs fresh through double-digit mileage. Up top, the fortified mesh construction promotes active ventilation without letting kicked-up dust and trail debris filter into the shoe.

Key Features:

• Full-Length Nike React Foam Midsole: Resilient, responsive foam platform delivering smooth transitions, high energy return, and long-lasting cushioning on both dirt and asphalt.

• Shockwave Traction Lugged Outsole: Multi-surface rubber tread with a bike-tire-inspired wave pattern engineered for confident grip on dirt climbs while running quietly and smoothly on road sections.

• Debris-Shedding Engineered Mesh Upper: Heavy-duty, breathable mesh engineered to vent heat while keeping grit, pine needles, and dust from penetrating the cabin.

• Dynamic Midfoot Band Integration: Arch-wrapping internal saddle tied directly to the laces to eliminate foot shift and lateral sliding on off-camber terrain.

• Cushioned Heel Collar & Gaiter Protection: Plushly padded rearfoot cradle featuring a subtle ankle collar cuff to help block loose trail grit from slipping past the socks.

• Utility Heel Pull Tab: Sturdy webbing loop anchored at the Achilles for quick on-and-off transitions before and after muddy sessions.

Buyer Guidance & Fit Profile:

• Who This Product Is Best Suited For: Ideal for runners who need a single shoe to cover mixed tarmac-and-trail routes, gravel trail enthusiasts, forest park runners, and light hikers seeking the plush, springy ride of a road trainer with real off-road traction. Pairs naturally with technical trail shorts, moisture-wicking merino running socks, lightweight windbreakers, and hydration vests. Not designed for deep, slick clay mud (where deep 5mm+ spaced mud lugs are necessary) or technical alpine scrambling requiring an ultra-rigid rock plate.

• Fit & Sizing Determination: Fits True to Size (TTS) in standard Nike athletic running footwear. The toe box offers slightly more room and volume than standard Nike road racing flats, allowing toes to splay comfortably on downhills without crowding. Runners with extra-wide feet (2E+ width) or those planning to wear ultra-thick winter wool trail socks should consider going half a size up (0.5 size up).

• Recommended Conditions & Activities: Optimised for door-to-trail runs, packed dirt loops, gravel paths, dry-to-moderately wet forest trails, and paved road link-ups. Care Recommendation: Tap out dried mud and grit from the outsole lugs after off-road runs; spot clean the mesh upper and welded overlays using a soft brush dipped in lukewarm water and mild liquid soap; avoid machine washing or machine drying, as mechanical cycles break down the upper bonds and degrade React foam elasticity; remove the insoles, loosen the laces, and allow to air dry naturally at room temperature in a shaded space away from direct radiators or heat sources.
