Description
High-Velocity Off-Road Agility: The Pegasus Trail 5 Experience
Experience unreal energy return, all-terrain grip, and a beautifully structured, supportive fit whether navigating technical dirt singletracks or paved roads. The REACTX upgrades Nike's iconic trail franchise with next-generation cushioning and a multi-surface tread pattern engineered for seamless dual-surface transitions. The crisp "White" engineered mesh base is beautifully electrified by popping "Blue Tint" and "Glacier Blue" overlays, Flywire lace loops, and a plush ReactX foam midsole carrier to establish an authoritative performance story loaded with a pro-grade finish.
Benefits:
We engineered this dual-threat trail runner to adapt effortlessly to both wild forest trails and hard asphalt streets. Up top, mesh is combined with open holes on the upper for breathability, serving as a primary defence against heat build-up. To maintain maximum stability over uneven roots and rocky paths, Flywire technology integrates with the laces to help secure your midfoot, keeping you perfectly stabilized and locked-in. Down below, a springy ReactX foam midsole gives you lightweight energy return—making every landing noticeably softer—while the specialized Nike Trail ATC outsole guarantees a successful tackle of steep inclines and slick surfaces.
Key Features:
- Responsive ReactX Cushioning: Springy ReactX foam midsole gives you lightweight energy return. It's 13% more responsive than previous React technology.
- Nike Trail ATC Outsole: Nike Trail All-Terrain Compound (ATC) rubber outsole provides enhanced grip on steep inclines and in wet weather, while giving you a smooth ride on the road.
- Flywire Midfoot Lockdown: Flywire technology integrates with the laces to help secure your midfoot for total stability.
- Targeted Cooling Mesh: Mesh is combined with open holes on the upper for breathability and fast drying.
- High-Visibility Accent Panel: Refreshing Blue Tint and Glacier Blue accents engineered for a successful shot at standout outdoor styling.
Product Details:
- Product Name: Nike Women's ReactX Pegasus Trail 5
- Design Classification: Dual-Threat All-Terrain Trail & Road Running Shoe
- Colourway Spectrum: White / Blue Tint / Glacier Blue / Football Grey
- Style Code: DV3865-103
Who This Product Is Best Suited For:
Ideal for female runners who balance mixed-surface runs (starting on pavement, cutting through parks, and finishing on compact dirt singletracks or gravel canal towpaths). Exceptional for beginner-to-marathon distance trail runners, weekend hikers, and outdoor fitness walkers seeking high-stack plush cushioning without the clunky stiffness of traditional hiking footwear. Not designed for deep peat bogs, cross-country clay mud, or sheer mountain scree requiring aggressive 8mm soft-ground studs.
Fit & Sizing Determination:
Fits True to Size (TTS) for standard-width women's feet (B width). The integrated Flywire midfoot cable matrix cradles the instep firmly, preventing internal forward foot slide on steep downhill sections. The engineered mesh forefoot provides a comfortable, breathable volume; however, trail runners with wide feet (D width) or those who prefer generous toe splay with thicker cushioned trail socks should select a half size up (0.5 size larger) for immediate comfort.
Recommended Conditions & Activities:
Optimised for compact dirt trails, forest tracks, park paths, gravel paths, and paved road connectors in dry to wet conditions. The generative Nike Trail ATC outsole compound bites into steep gravel climbs while remaining smooth and quiet on hard road tarmac. Not recommended for saturated winter mud baths or deep water wading, where open-hole ventilation mesh permits moisture entry.
