On Running Cloudvista

Swiss Alpine Precision & Weatherproof Off-Road Flow: The On Running Cloudvista Waterproof "Zinc / Grape" Unlock flow on the trail with an agile, ultra-lightweight off-road runner engineered to take on unpredictable terrain in any forecast. The 74.98058 strips away excess bulk from traditional trail shoes, blending Swiss-engineered CloudTec® cushioning with an impervious waterproof membrane. Rendered in a high-visibility, technical palette of cool "Zinc" grey accented by vibrant "Grape" purples, this all-ability trail shoe delivers soft landings, snappy propulsion, and dependable mud-shedding grip across forest switchbacks, park gravel, and rocky paths.

Benefits: Engineered for moderate trail runs, fast-paced nature walks, forest trail commuting, and wet-weather outdoor adventures, this shoe prioritizes nimble agility and dry-foot comfort. The featherweight waterproof membrane seals out rain, morning dew, and slush without creating internal overheating, thanks to breathable ripstop textile mapping. Underfoot, the synergy of Helion™ superfoam and a trail-tuned Speedboard® absorbs root and stone impacts while smoothly propelling you forward into your next stride, significantly reducing foot fatigue over mixed elevation.

Key Features:

• Helion™ Superfoam & CloudTec® Midsole: Dual-cushioning system that pairs responsive superfoam with hollow Cloud elements for soft, impact-absorbing landings on hard rock and packed dirt.

• Trail-Tuned Speedboard®: Cloudultra-inspired internal plate that harnesses energy return to promote a natural, efficient rolling motion through the gait cycle.

• Updated Missiongrip™ Outsole: Multi-directional rubber tread featuring squared lugs in the forefoot and heel for enhanced braking, climbing traction, and mud shedding.

• Ultralight Waterproof Membrane: High-performance water barrier lined with a durable ripstop mesh vamp to keep feet dry in downpours while shielding against stray debris.

• Minimalist Featherweight Upper: Stripped-back synthetic and mesh upper engineered to deliver glove-like foot lockdown without adding water-logging bulk.

• Protective Mudguards & Overlays: Lightweight TPU weld lines across the lower perimeter that deflect trail abrasions from sharp stones and low brush.

Buyer Guidance & Fit Profile:

• Who This Product Is Best Suited For: Ideal for trail runners, fastpackers, outdoor commuters, and park runners tackling moderate, non-technical to semi-technical trails in wet or muddy conditions. Pairs naturally with merino wool running socks, technical trail shorts, moisture-wicking tights, and weatherproof shell jackets. Not intended for ultra-heavy mountaineering scrambles requiring rigid steel crampons or dedicated road marathon racing where flat, full-contact road rubber is required.

• Fit & Sizing Determination: Fits True to Size (TTS) for standard foot widths, offering a secure midfoot and heel lock designed to prevent foot slippage on steep descents. However, because waterproof membranes inherently reduce upper stretch, wearers with wide feet (2E+) or those who prefer a roomier forefoot splay on extended trail runs should consider sizing half a size up (0.5 size up) for optimal comfort.

• Recommended Conditions & Activities: Optimised for wet-weather trail running, gravel path training, light hiking, and rainy urban transit. Care Recommendation: Tap out dry mud and trail grit immediately after runs; clean the ripstop upper and Missiongrip™ lugs using a soft-bristled brush with lukewarm water and mild technical wash; do not machine wash or use fabric softeners, as detergents can degrade the waterproof membrane; air dry naturally at room temperature with the insoles removed, away from radiators, drying cupboards, or direct heat sources.
